There will be a form of shared communion during the meal. Traditionally the altar would be stripped at the end of the meal, but this year we are not in the church building.

Saturday 16th May, 10am-7.30pm – Flame2026 – Men’s Event
Taking place just north-west of Lechlade, between Coln St Aldwyns and Aldsworth, FLAME2026 is titled Stepping up and Stepping out in Faith and we will be discussing what that means for us as Christian men. Focusing on the book of Joshua as well as other scriptures, we will look at where we can find strength, encouragement, and boldness. Where can we find wisdom in being obedient and responsive to a word or calling, and where we can find God’s promise that we are never in this alone. It is our hope and prayer that, if you could not claim it before, after this year’s event you can walk away confidently proclaiming “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain”.
