Many people comment on the fact that it is a joy to see St Lawrence Church floodlit during the evenings, especially in the dark winter months. For many years the people of Lechlade, and others, have generously helped to fund the expense of this by giving donations to commemorate an occasion – perhaps celebrating a birth, a marriage, an important anniversary, or remembering a loved one no longer with us on a special day.
If you would like to contribute towards the running costs of the floodlighting and would like to commemorate a special person or event, please use this form. The dedication you enter on the form will be published in The Bridge both in the online version and in the paper edition, and will be displayed in St Lawrence Church.
The PCC suggests that a donation of £10.00 would be appropriate for a dedication. If you are a taxpayer please do consider gift-aiding your contribution (there is a space on the form for this). The form gives details of how to make your sponsorship payment.
